Read about returns, complaints, delivery, payment, data, and your rights when shopping.
Full right of return within 14 days:
All purchases can be cancelled up to 14 days after delivery. After this, as a private customer, you have 14 days to return the item. If you cancel your purchase, the item must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging. The packaging often contains information about the product, which must be reused in the event of resale. It is therefore important that the packaging is opened carefully, without causing damage to either the product or the packaging. Items that are not returned in the same condition and quantity will not be accepted.
Please make sure to pack the item securely when returning it, so that it is not damaged during transport. Together with the returned item, please include the order number and account information for the refund of your payment. If this information is sent to us together with the item, we can process your case faster and return your payment more quickly.
Once the item has been received by us, we will refund the full amount to the specified account. Please note that PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS does not pay for the return shipping of goods. The purchase cannot be cancelled if the products have been changed from their original design or have been produced specifically according to your wishes. In cases where the right of cancellation does not apply, PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS will specifically draw attention to this either on the individual product or subsequently, before the order is processed. However, until processing of the order has begun, meaning the beginning of modification, adaptation, or production, the right of cancellation still applies.
The consumer may cancel a purchase even if the item has been used. In this context, “used” should be understood as equivalent to how the consumer would be able to test the item in a physical shop.
If the item has been used, a specific assessment must be made of what the item, in its used condition, can be sold for to another consumer. Any reduction in value will not be refunded to the consumer.
We do not withdraw payments until the goods have been dispatched from our warehouse.
Complaint:
In accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act, we offer a 2-year right of complaint on all our goods. Should an item, contrary to our expectations, be defective or incorrectly delivered, we will take it back and send a corresponding product as quickly as possible. Before returning goods, PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS must be contacted to ensure fast and efficient handling of the complaint. We will naturally reimburse your shipping costs in this connection. Visible defects and deficiencies must be reported to us immediately, and no later than 2 months after you have received the item.

In the event of a complaint, PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS must be contacted within a reasonable time.
Liability for defects:
PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS is responsible for liability for defects in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Any warranty does not apply in the event of operating errors, lack of maintenance, misuse, or similar circumstances. Regardless of the country to which the item is sent, Danish law applies to purchases made through this website.
If an item needs servicing, or if you believe there is something wrong with it, it must be sent to PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS, after which we will repair and return the product to you as quickly as possible. If the item is covered by warranty or liability for defects, Profboard Production ApS will cover all reasonable expenses in connection with servicing and shipping.
If an item is sent without justification, you must pay all costs related to shipping as well as a service fee of DKK 200. No goods can be returned without postage paid or by cash on delivery.
Delivery:
When you order your goods, it is possible to provide a delivery address other than your own. This may be an advantage if there is no one available to receive the goods at your own address, or if the item is to be used elsewhere, for example in a holiday home. Regardless of where you want the item to be sent, only one shipment has been paid for. If it is not possible to deliver the item on the first attempt, either the carrier or PostDanmark will leave a note with information about where the item can be collected. Please also note that all delivery times are indicative, and PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs incurred by our customers due to deviations from the stated delivery time. We naturally send all goods as quickly as possible, but we cannot prevent delivery failures, delays on backordered goods, sold-out items, or discontinued items.
The shipping price applies to Zealand, Jutland, Funen, and all bridge-connected islands. Delivery to other locations will be subject to the current shipping fee. We strive to deliver all goods the day after the order has been registered. This means, among other things, that one order may be delivered in several shipments, so that all items in stock are sent out the day after the order has been registered, while items we need to obtain from manufacturers will follow as quickly as possible. We can register orders until 14:00 on weekdays.
Products ordered through PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS are delivered by GLS or freight carrier, depending on the size, type, and weight of the requested products. Large, heavy, or difficult-to-handle packages are delivered to the main door or driveway.
Receipt of goods:
When the goods are received, it is important that you inspect them carefully for damage and defects. Remember that you should not sign for your goods until you have inspected them. If you are unable to receive the goods yourself, you may indicate in the comments field during ordering a place or person to whom the goods may be delivered instead, for example a neighbour or similar. However, PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS cannot guarantee that the carrier or PostDanmark will follow these instructions, as the insurance responsibility rests with these parties. If the item is damaged during transport, you must refuse to accept it. If the item is intact but incorrectly delivered or incorrectly produced, you must follow the instructions for complaints as described above.
Registration of information:
When placing an order, we will ask you for various personal details that enable us to process and register your order correctly. This information will be treated confidentially by PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS. No information obtained by PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS in connection with the ordering of goods will be passed on to third parties. If you need to place several orders, we will store your address details so that, when placing your second and future orders, you only need to enter your telephone number. The remaining information will then become available on the screen. It will be possible to change previously entered information or reuse it. All your personal information is used exclusively for processing your orders. We do not store any payment information, so it will be necessary to enter payment details each time a purchase is made.
In the event of legal disputes, these will be settled by the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court.
Shipping abroad:
We are happy to ship throughout Europe, Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. However, we cannot administer any customs or tax charges that may be added in connection with the receipt of packages abroad. Please contact us to obtain the shipping fee for delivery outside Denmark, which is based on weight.
Right of cancellation:
As a private consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this agreement without giving any reason within 14 days. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, in the case of purchase agreements.
To exercise the right of cancellation, you must inform us, PROFBOARD PRODUCTION ApS, Løhdesvej 6, 7442 Engesvang – VAT: DK31603404, of your decision to cancel this agreement by an unequivocal statement, for example by letter sent by post, fax, or email. You may use the attached standard cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.
The cancellation deadline is met if you send your notice of exercising the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
If you exercise your right of cancellation in this agreement, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs, though not additional costs resulting from your own choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notice of your decision to cancel this agreement. We will make such a refund using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not be charged any fees as a result of the refund.
You must bear the direct costs in connection with returning the item.
